Terms of Service

Last updated 21 July 2026 · Written to be accurate and complete about how our AI actually works · Questions: infoleasha@gmail.com

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Leasha. By a clinic integrating our service or a caller interacting with our AI, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

We provide AI-powered teletriage and reception services. The AI assesses the urgency of pet symptoms and routes calls or books appointments accordingly.

Not a veterinarian — the human in the loop

Emergency fail-safe

If the AI detects a life-threatening emergency, it is designed to immediately reroute the call to the clinic's emergency line or a human operator. However, the AI is not a substitute for immediate veterinary attention. If your pet is in critical danger, call an emergency vet directly.

Acceptable use

Clinics must use the service lawfully and only with data they are authorised to process. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the AI or use it to deceive anyone.

Consent for recordings

The clinic is responsible for ensuring pet owners are notified that calls are recorded and transcribed. We provide a mandatory "Call Start Disclosure" to help you comply with GDPR and all-party consent laws.

AI output & accuracy

AI models can sometimes make mistakes ("hallucinations"). Triage scores and notes are automated guidance only. Clinics must use professional judgement before relying on AI notes for medical treatment.

Your content

The clinic owns the data put into the system. We get a licence to process it solely to provide the service. We do not use your content to train our own or third-party models.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any animal injury, death, or veterinary costs arising from reliance on AI triage without professional review. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
